Laguna University (LU) is a public university established on February 15, 2006, through the Provincial Ordinance No. 1 S. 2006 to provide access for education to the residents of Laguna.
The university’s programs are recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) and Technical Skills and Development Authority (TESDA). It offers a wide range of courses under its 5 colleges: Arts Science and Technology, Health and Sciences, Entrepreneurship, Management and Accountancy, Education, and Engineering.
Aside from the college courses, Laguna University also has senior high school programs. It offers ABM (Accountancy, Business and Management), STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics), HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences), and GAS (General Academic Strand) strands under the Academic track. While its Technical-Vocational Livelihood Track strands has ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and IA (Industrial Arts) program.
