Laguna College of Business and Arts (LCBA) is a private and non-sectarian school in Calamba established in June 1930 by Don Pedro E. Llamas as the Laguna Institute (LI) catering 95 students in the first and second-year high school.
At present, the university offers programs in integrated basic education from elementary, junior high school and senior high school. Its college department offers different courses under its 6 schools: Engineering and Information technology Education, Arts and Sciences, Teacher Education, Business, Accountancy, and General Education. Aside from the undergraduate courses, LCBA also has a School of Graduate Studies that offers degrees in Master of Arts in Education, Master in Business Administration, Master in Public Administration, and Master of Science in Psychology.
Since its foundation, the University continues to serve the community by offering quality education with a determination to achieve academic excellence. LCBA aims to become one of the best education institutions in the province through its outcome-based education, policy-relevant research, and community-empowering extensions.
